For vehicle photography, many dealerships rely either on external service providers or on in-house shoots without clear guidance. Both approaches cost time and lead to inconsistent results.

External photographers create dependency, which means waiting times and delays. Appointments have to fit, there are minimum volumes, and with short-notice cancellations vehicles have often been prepared for nothing. The edited vehicle photos frequently only come back after several days.

In-house vehicle photography without an app is more flexible, but hard to standardize. Different staff, missing processes and forgotten angles lead to rework and inconsistent vehicle images.

Natas AI actively guides you through the entire photo process.
It recognizes the vehicle angle, position and orientation while the photo is being taken and gives clear instructions.

Staff always know:

• which view to shoot next
• the exact degrees for perfect angles
• at what height to hold the smartphone

The result is consistent, reproducible vehicle photography via app, regardless of experience, staff member or location.

The desired output order of the vehicle views is defined once. When shooting, the order no longer matters.

Staff shoot with the Piranha App in whatever order is quickest on site.
Octopus then automatically assigns the images correctly and delivers them in exactly the defined order.

The result: less walking, higher throughput and much shorter photo processes at the dealership -> under 5 minutes per vehicle!

After the shoot, Natas takes over the AI-based editing of the vehicle photos.
Automatic image editing is fully integrated into the dealership workflow.

Vehicles are automatically clipped and optimized, right after being photographed with the app.

This includes:

• AI vehicle clipping
• Generation of shadows and reflections
• Window clipping and reflection neutralization
• Insertion of background and customer-specific branding
• a consistent look across all vehicle photos

Automatic editing of vehicle images completely replaces manual rework. On request, an additional manual quality check can be set up.

Every dealership has its own requirements for vehicle images.
With the Piranha App you can define individual branding, e.g. backgrounds, logos, banners or color schemes.

The branding is applied automatically to all vehicle photos and stays consistent, even across several locations or with changing staff.

Piranha is not a rigid photo app. A customer can create as many setups and products as needed, e.g. for different vehicle types, brands or locations.

Each setup can have its own specifications, for example:

• individual views and angles
• any number of interior and exterior views
• a combination of edited and unedited images
• defined numbers of images
• different backgrounds
• individual branding
• separate prices

All setups run in parallel and are managed centrally.

Manufacturer requirements can be mapped in full. Number of images, angles, order and presentation can be defined exactly to OEM standards.

This produces manufacturer-compliant vehicle photos, even for large dealer groups with several brands.

Finished vehicle photos can be handed over directly from the Octopus pipeline to connected data service providers. The handover is automated and requires no manual steps in between.
